As someone with a gallows humor newsletter about Trump, I tend to be a pretty “glass half empty” much of the time, but the past two weekends have been pretty great at keeping my spirits up.

It started last weekend with a shockingly good turnout for our local “Hands Off” protest, and extended through today as a few of us took the train downtown for LA’s giant “Fight The Oligarchy” rally.

Bernie Sanders got the crowd amped, AOC crushed it as usual, and the cherries on top were performances from Maggie Rogers, Joan Baez and Neil Young.
