Today Sarah and I celebrate 25 years of marriage. Madness!
Oh, you want to see that sweet, sweet footage from our 2000 wedding? I’ve got you:
Here are just a few things that have happened in the QUARTER CENTURY since I threw a ring on that:
- Our three children were born (all now legal adults 🤯)
- We moved three times (once from Illinois to California, then twice to different Southern California cities)
- We held 11 different jobs between us (8 of them being mine, with countless insane stories)
- My excitement about blogging gave way to 💀SOCIAL MEDIA💀, then back to excitement about blogging
- We had a thrilling move from a giant Ethernet cable to Wi-Fi, then (with the boys demanding top gaming speeds) back to a giant Ethernet cable
- My music and movie collection turned from plastic discs to files on my computer to things living in a magical cloud
- My wife’s decades-long hatred of Spaceballs continued, with (at last) a second chance finally offering her a redemption arc
- Our early marriage habit of ordering wings and beer to watch The Apprentice and laugh at Trump turned into bone-chilling terror as he twice became President of the United States 🤮
