Media Diary (March 2020)

Some things I’ve experienced lately, in no particular order, and not necessarily only recent stuff:

Devs (TV): I’m all about this

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (Movie): Made me seek out the article

The Bridge on The River Kwai (Movie): I’ll never see Obi-Wan the same way again

The Dating Game Killer (Podcast): So far, so good

Taking America Back for God: Christian Nationalism in the United States (Book): Scary, but important

The Plot Against America (TV): Solid

Tiger King (TV): Loved the podcast, love the show even more

Emma (Movie): Part of being married to Sarah Ford means watching Jane Austen adaptations (it was fine)

The Plot Against America Podcast (Duh): I’ve loved the other HBO companion podcasts, so I have high hopes for this one as well

Westworld (TV): Yes, yes, yes

After Truth: Disinformation and the Cost of Fake News (Movie): Chilling

Dave (TV): I had no idea what to expect from this, but it’s pretty great

Amazing Stories (TV): Hit or miss, but the hits are reasonably interesting

Ex Machina (Movie): I’d somehow never seen this, but I liked it a great deal

Breeders (TV): Decent

The Most Dangerous Animal of All (TV): Fascinating, and makes me want to watch Zodiac again
