Here’s some stuff I’ve experienced lately (and not necessarily only new releases):
Daisy Jones & The Six (TV): Love the whole vibe, can’t wait to finish it
John Wick: Chapter 4 (Movie): That staircase finale!
Main Accounts: The Story of MySpace (Podcast): When life was simpler
Succession (TV): Obviously
Cocaine Bear (Movie): Was exactly what I needed it to be
The Coldest Case in Laramie (Podcast): Fascinating to hear it unfold
Yellowjackets (TV): Glad it’s back, ready for the ride
Women Talking (Movie): Thoroughly enjoyed this, and like it said on the tin, there was indeed a lot of women talking
The Consultant (TV): Totally unhinged and epic!
Money Shot: The Pornhub Story (Movie): Fascinating
History of The World: Part I (Movie): Honestly not sure if I’d ever seen this before, can’t believe some of the bits he got away with back in the day
History of the World: Part II (TV): Definitely a fan, the Beatles segments were solid gold
Hell House (Movie): Absolutely captivating
Perry Mason (TV): Had kinda forgotten about this show, but this new season is strong
Ruthless: Monopoly’s Secret History (Movie): Of course there was shameful capitalist backstabbing involved
Jared From Subway: Catching a Monster (TV): I’d never known just how dark this story was, yikes
Lucky Hank (TV): Fun so far, and a great treatment for Saul withdrawal
Sin Eater: The Crimes of Anthony Pellicano (TV): I’d been vaguely familiar with his story, but this was a great overview
Chris Rock: Selective Outrage (Movie): Didn’t expect him to go that hard at the end
Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne (TV): Just started this, but loving so far
Waco: American Apocalypse (TV): Like catnip for me
Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut (Movie): I’d never seen this version, think I prefer the theatrical cut (if only for nostalgia’s sake)
Ted Lasso (TV): I still enjoy it, but I’ve never been on the “this show can do no wrong” team
The Reluctant Traveler (TV): He’s a delight as always, but we get it, you’re reluctant
