Here’s some stuff I’ve experienced lately (and not necessarily only new releases):
The Days (TV): Completely engrossing and maddening
BlackBerry (Movie): A delight!
Arnold (TV): Tore through this, was impressed not only by his (unmatched) career, but also with his not shying away from discussing past behavior and bad choices
The American Gladiators Documentary (TV): This had exactly the amount of backstabbing and intrigue that I wanted
Black Mirror (TV): The king is back
The Flash (Movie): Obviously tons of flaws, but overall I enjoyed it (certainly more than many of the recent DC slogs)
Dead Ringers (TV): Super compelling, and her dual performances are kind of incredible
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (TV): So fun, so glad it’s back
Stan Lee (Movie): Hell of a career
I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson (TV): For my money, the funniest show on television
Painting With John (TV): Still bizarre, still kind of meditative
Grand Knighthawk: Infiltrating The KKK (Movie): A fascinating look at some despicable people
The Crowded Room (TV): Everyone’s hating on this, but I’m…kind of into it?
Bama Rush (Movie): I wanted far more drama from this than I got
Secret Invasion (TV): Will see where it goes, but Samuel L. always elevates
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (TV): Incredible that this is still on, and that the gang still manages to (generally) keep the comedic wheels from falling off
The Righteous Gemstones (TV): Just put it in my veins
MerPeople (TV): Had no idea this was a thing, but of course it is
Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets (TV): Definitely some overlap with stuff I’ve experienced
