Here’s some stuff I’ve experienced lately (and not necessarily only new releases):

Feud: Capote vs. The Swans (TV): Love the backstabbing and I’m into the whole scene

Feud (TV): I then had to go back to watch the first installment, which I really enjoyed as well, which of course led me to…

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (Movie): …which was amazing!

The Zone of Interest (Movie): Incredibly chilling

Extremely Hardcore: Inside Elon Musk’s Twitter (Book): Didn’t think I had another “Elon ruins Twitter” book in me, but my appetite is apparently boundless ✨

Masters of The Air (TV): Really enjoying this, and yes, I’m fully aware that I’ve now fully become the man in his forties going deep on WWII…

Band of Brothers (TV): …so I then jumped on this (and soon will watch the other one) since I’d amazingly never seen it, and I’m finding it super compelling

Anatomy of a Fall (Movie): She was incredible

The Greatest Night in Pop (Movie): What a feat of logistics and ego wrangling!

Filterworld: How Algorithms Flattened Culture (Book): Found myself nodding along quite a bit

The New Look (TV): Absolutely fascinating to learn about the intersection of fashion and Nazis

Lawrence of Arabia (Movie): Despite an extremely problematic Alec Guinness character, turns out that this moving is amazing, who (aside from the entire world) knew?

Dogtooth (Movie): Absolutely nuts, but I couldn’t look away

The Killing of a Sacred Deer (Movie): So, so dark, but fascinating

The Woman They Wanted: Shattering the Illusion of the Good Christian Wife (Book): Definitely resonated with stuff I’ve encountered

Constellation (TV): Enjoying this so far, and I find her super compelling

Navalny (Movie): Wanted to watch this a while back, and was saddened/angered after watching it now under the circumstances

Tokyo Vice (TV): Love going back into this world

Days of Heaven (Movie): Strange and gorgeous

They Called Him Mostly Harmless (Movie): Never underestimate the power of crowdsourcing

Raël: The Alien Prophet (TV): Wild, and I had no idea about the cloning stuff

Salvador Dalí: In Search of Immortality (Movie): How epic would it have been to hang out at his house when he had it opened up?

M*A*S*H: The Comedy That Changed Television (Movie): As someone a bit too young to experience the full cultural force of this show (to me it was something on at night that old people watched), this was enlightening

Curb Your Enthusiasm (TV): Going out strong

The Capote Tapes (Movie): Obviously had to jump into the doc to get more sweet swan content

Capote (Movie): Had also never seen this, and thought he was (unsurprisingly) great

Radical Wolfe (Movie): Apparently this was flamboyant writer month for me

The Truth About Jim (TV): This took some turns

Kubrick by Kubrick (Movie): Always a sucker for a peek behind the Kubrick curtain

Einstein and The Bomb (Movie): An interesting deeper look for any Oppenheimer fans

Tiptoes (Movie): The less said about this the better, I fully blame my wife and cousins
