Media Diary (April 2024)

Here’s some stuff I’ve experienced lately (and not necessarily only new releases):

Ripley (TV): Legitimately gorgeous, absolutely ate it up

Civil War (Movie): Not what I expected, with many truly chilling moments

Baby Reindeer (TV): A cousin recommendation that I couldn’t “put down”

Flood in The Desert (TV): A great intro for aspiring Dam-heads

Fallout (TV): Early on with this, but it’s super strong

The Truth vs. Alex Jones (Movie): Just when I thought I couldn’t detest the dude more

X-Men ’97 (TV): Talk about swinging for the fences!

A Gentleman in Moscow (TV): Impressed by the world-building inside a fixed location

The Sympathizer (TV): Kind of wild tonally, but I’m into it

Sugar (TV): A little over-the-top, but still enjoying

Franklin (TV): Just started, but can’t go wrong with Michael D. as Ben

The Jinx: Part Two (TV): Still fascinating, even after we know how it played out

The Synanon Fix (TV): Keep making Synanon docs and I’ll keep watching ’em
