Media Diary (September 2024)

Here’s some stuff I’ve experienced lately (and not necessarily only new releases). In addition, our free Stream Team community has a lot more daily action happening on the recommendations front too. 💪

Slow Horses (TV): This lowkey might be the best show on TV

Will & Harper (Movie): Touching and funny

Blue Sisters (Book): Still in the middle of this now that I’m a BOOK CLUB GUY, but really feeling each of the characters

Panic World (Podcast): Just started, but right up my alley

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (Movie): Fully enjoyed this, despite some subplots that could easily have been ditched

English Teacher (TV): Shocking how good this is right out of the gate

Mr. Wilson’s Cabinet of Wonder: Pronged Ants, Horned Humans, Mice on Toast, and Other Marvels of Jurassic Technology (Book): An enlightening, yet not at all enlightening look into the MJT, which is 100% appropriate

Kinds of Kindness (Movie): Loved it, I’ll honestly watch anything Yorgos puts out

The Penguin (TV): Super into it right away, curious to see where things go

Popeye (Movie): For…reasons

The Perfect Couple (TV): Soapy and enjoyable, and love the opening titles!

A Very Royal Scandal (TV): I’m a major Ruth Wilson fan, and tore through this…

Scoop (Movie): …then of course immediately had to watch the other one, which Gillian (obviously) also nailed

Agatha All Along (TV): Messy and strange so far, so it has my attention

Kaos (TV): Enjoying the goofy energy
