Marty Supreme

Media Diary (December 2025)

Here’s some stuff I’ve experienced lately (and not necessarily only new releases). In addition, our free Stream Team community has a lot more daily action happening on the recommendations front too. 💪

Marty Supreme (Movie): I’ll be honest, Timothée was kind of astounding

Wake Up Dead Man (Movie): Really enjoyed this, despite the darker tone from its predecessors

Fallout (TV): Glad it’s back, I missed this weird world

The Hounding (Book): Generally enjoyed the ominous atmosphere, though this really should’ve been called “DogChix”

Galaxy Brain (Podcast): Just started digging through, but I’m always a fan of the dystopia beat

Happy and You Know It (Movie): These people are all the absolute coolest

Downey Wrote That (Movie): This guy was/is absolute magic

The Smashing Machine (Movie): The Rock crushed this, and I’m bummed it tanked at the box office

Inside the Cult of the Jesus Army (TV): Obv catnip for me

Spinal Tap II: The End Continues (Movie): Very fun, though I desperately wish this hadn’t been his last film 😢

Frankenstein (Movie): Visually gorgeous, and loved the performances

Avatar: Fire and Ash (Movie): I had fun, but it definitely felt like an extension of the second film more than its own new chapter

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere (Movie): The main performances were great, but the plot/drama felt a bit lacking, despite the incredible songs

It’s Florida, Man (TV): So dumb, yet I keep coming back

Megadoc (Movie): Fascinating to watch, but I’d pay extra for a sequel covering the release and reviews

Anaconda (1997 Movie): I’d shockingly never seen this treasure, thankfully that’s now been rectified

Anaconda (2025 Movie): Watched the above to prep for this double feature, and found this new one to be a delight

Gremlins (Movie): Another Stream Team banger in the books

Breakdown: 1975 (Movie): Hell of a year!

Counting Crows: Have You Seen Me Lately? (Movie): Enjoyed this a lot, since I’m always a sucker for “semi-volatile frontman” stories

Train Dreams (Movie): Sad and beautiful vibes

Batman Returns (Movie): Hadn’t seen in a long time, it’s just jammed with iconic moments
