Mel Brooks

Media Diary (February 2026)

Here’s some stuff I’ve experienced lately (and not necessarily only new releases). In addition, our free Stream Team community has a lot more daily action happening on the recommendations front too. 💪

Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man! (TV): An absolute legend, and I was amazed at his role in giving David Lynch his big mainstream break

Neighbors (TV): Insane and glorious

Pavements (Movie): As my wife can reluctantly confirm, I want HARD on Pavement this month, and found this insane “documentary” to be pretty great

Pavement: Slow Century (Movie): I then of course had to follow it up with this more straightforward look at the band’s history

Shrinking (TV): Not sure they’re breaking much new ground anymore, but still super enjoyable, and the cast remains outstanding

Devo (Movie): As someone basically only familiar with “Whip It” this was fascinating

Rogue One (Movie): I think I’d only watched it when it first came out in theaters, and we re-watched and loved it again after (FINALLY) completing season two of the incredible Andor

Gone With the Wind (Movie): It’d been a long while since I’d watched it, and you can find out our takes in our upcoming discussion
