Here’s some stuff I’ve experienced lately (and not necessarily only new releases). In addition, our free Stream Team community has a lot more daily action happening on the recommendations front too. 💪
Youth (TV): This is fantastic, and really hits home as someone right around her character’s age
Paul Simon: The Quiet Celebration Concert (Movie): As a massive fan, it was awesome to see him still putting on a really solid show (given his recent health challenges)
Die Hot With a Vengeance: Essays on Vanity (Book): Basically “I work in the beauty industry, aren’t you jelly?” in book form 🙄
Slow Horses (TV): This remains maybe the best thing currently airing, I legit relish every episode
Untold Mr. T: I Pity The Fool (Movie): Beyond The A-Team and Rocky III, I didn’t know much about his background, and found this fascinating
Jay-Z in 8 (TV): A really interesting concept, and as someone that’s never gone deep into his catalog, I keep finding myself captivated
The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist (Movie): Nothing revelatory here, but a decent summary for those living under a rock that might be new to the discussion/issues
Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story (TV): Still early in the watch, but (unsurprisingly) I’m really into it so far
Untold Raygun: Breaking Badly (Movie): Not gonna lie, I’m kinda on Team Raygun after this
A Killer Story (TV): Super interesting, with some wild twists and turns on the trial side of things
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Movie): Had to do it in honor of Tim, and it never fails to delight
Death of the Pastor’s Wife (TV): This was riveting (and chilling)
The Big Lebowski (Movie): This has been in my top three movies of all-time for a long while, but see what the rest of the gang thought
Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars (TV): I’m inexplicably fascinated by this show, I think largely due to how hard I went in on The Bear
Unabomber (Movie): I wanted this to be far better than it was
The Paper (TV): This show is adorable, and I’m glad it’s back
OJ Unseen: Exploitation of Evil (TV): Turns out he wasn’t a super great guy!
Practical Magic (Movie): I’d amazingly never seen it (watched it with my wife before she went to see the apparently awful sequel), and my take was a resounding shrug
Wonka’s the Golden Ticket (TV): I only hate-watched one episode, but that was more than enough (poor Gene)
